About Our Effort

Unfortunately, not everyone was as lucky and for those 80+ who lost their lives, and the thousands affected, tomorrow is the start of the hardest battle of their life. The fires that ripped through Mati, Greece on Monday July 23rd, 2018 claimed the lives of many but left even more homeless, injured, lost and alone. In the middle of the worst economic crisis in the nations history, these people are in need of any help they can get, whether it’s to find shelter, pay for medical help, or search for loved ones. This effort is made by all of us who are from Mati, Greece. It is the least we can do so we can help our fellow citizens. #prayforgreece is currently trending on social media platforms, a bittersweet site because it shows the world is supporting our nation, but it also means a tragedy has occurred. We are looking to raise money for these families so that they can get back on their feet. All the money raised will be given to local relief groups of both the families and individuals. We ask that you continue to pray for the victims and their families and to continue to support the nation in this difficult time.
